This book has been titled Hullabaloo, what is the significance of this title? The word hullabaloo itself is mentioned in the book a few times. What does it refer to?

Well first off, the word hullabaloo means a commotion or a fuss. This could refer to the fact that the story spirals out of control at times. Or it could be a reference to al the commotion caused over the town having their own holy man, or even over the monkey problem.

I think that it just refers to the whole novel in general. From the first page, everything is out of control at some degree or another.
